As a new Mom, words cannot express how blessed we are to learn of this great resource at 38 weeks! The journey into Motherhood and experiencing the uncertainties that floods a parent’s postpartum journey was so much better faced with this support group and resource. I have learned so much about birth, nursing, and postpartum care from The Birthing Circle. I’m so thankful for how this group empowers us with knowledge, care, advice, and unique and personal support! This group allowed my family the opportunity to have the best prenatal, birth and postnatal support physically and emotionally! Thank you and I sure hope it continues to grow and more women are blessed with such a great birthing network!

I was new to the Frederick area, 7 months pregnant with my first, and did not have friends in the area. The birthing circle was a welcoming group of women who have provided encouragement, support, perspective, friendship, generosity, the list goes on and on. I have enjoyed learning from the speakers at each meeting, the birth stories Mamas have shared, making friends with moms (and dads) who have similar parenting styles, and ones who do not. Its been an amazing group. The Latch On was a wonderful event to be a part of, and I am always excited to tell other new moms I meet about the group.

Thanks so much for all of your efforts with the birthing circle and supporting local mamas. It makes being a mama that much easier when you know there are people out there that know what you are going through, can support you and encourage you, and want to welcome you with open arms!!

The birthing circle is such an amazing group! I always find myself talking about the group and referring new moms. It has helped me so much throughout my pregnancy and post partum period. From postpartum anxiety and how to handle the first few weeks after baby comes home to how to understand what your body and baby is doing months after. I can always count on the birthing circle for amazing and supportive answers to my MANY questions. I don’t know where I would be without this incredible tribe.

The Birthing Circle connected me…I had no friends in town with babies when my little guy was born, and no local friends that were pregnant or experienced mamas. It was life-changing that I found a group of women that I have come to trust, to ask questions of…the women in the group are incredibly generous, encouraging, and empowering. We really have a special mama tribe here in Frederick!

This is my 3rd and last baby and this group has helped me so much! I was unable to breastfeed my first 2 babies (for longer than a couple weeks) mostly for lack of education/support…this group as a whole and some specific members has given me the encouragement and empowerment to be able to ebf! This group has also been an outlet for me to share both my joyous and not so joyous times 😉 I’ve never felt very comfortable sharing my birth stories in the past; I enjoyed sharing my birth story this time! Thank you.

The birthing circle brought so much awareness to me. And so much support while trying to navigate the new parenting journey. Even though it was hard making it to meetings, having the online support, making connections and even friends with like minded mamas was my saving grace. I continue to learn as we grow together

Without this group of ladies I would not have found someone to help my baby’s tongue tie. This group was a God send. The support and advice was helpful beyond words. All because my best friend pursued advice here.
